The above is a nice infographic that tells you what a normal BMI is. 18.5 to 24.9 is what you want to aim for. This measurement takes into account your height and weight to give you a value. It is the weight in kg divided by the height in meters squared. You can use the below chart to calculate your BMI and see if you are on the right track. You can use your weight in pounds and height in feet and inches to find your value. One thing to note is the if you are extremely muscular your BMI may be off a little as it is muscle weight and not excess fat that is increasing your weight. For most people this is a helpful measurement.
